It’s been a very interesting year in the world of Windows Phone. We started developing strongly for Windows Phone and we have about 40 apps currently in the marketplace

WP7 App Spotlight – Zombie Apocalypse

Released about a week ago into the Windows Phone 7 Marketplace, Zombie Apocalypse made by BeatonPath is a fantastic and highly addictive Zombie Tower Defense game.

At the time of this post, Zombie Apocalypse is currently 208/7075 in the games category and 489/50801 overall in the windows phone 7 marketplace with an average rating of 4.5 stars. This is one game you do not want to skip by.

This is the description of the game:

Zombies have overrun the earth
You are in charge of defending your camp of survivors and your family from invading zombies
Place your defenses carefully.  Some walk…some run…and some even fly

Featured WP7 App – Astral Battles

This free WP7 game is an amazing and highly addictive game made by Egor Bogatov, and I believe is the first “card game” for the Windows Phone 7 (if there is another, please let me know on the comments below).

The design of this game is simple, intuitive and very responsive to touch. The objective of this game is pretty simple, Defeat the opponent in a magical duel by summoning creatures and castings spells using four elements: Fire, Water, Air, Earth + one special.

You have different types of mode in this game:

– Tournament – Player vs Player (hot-seat)

– Player vs A.I. (quick battle)

– Campaign (will be available in v. 1.5)

– Online duel + statistics (will be available in v. 2.0)

This is an awesome game for the Windows Phone 7, and is very addictive if you like these types of games and like I said.. You can’t beat a Free Game!
